My initial experience with joiner knive replacement
My first attempt at replacing joiner knives went well, thanks to the instructions and comments on this site. The ultimate alignment used the sliding ruler method. It went well and I am pleased. Total time: 30 minutes. The wonderful payoff is sharp joiner knives. What a difference sharp blades makes....

Table saw blade flex
I experienced blade flex on the table saw and wondered if anyone had a thought. While cutting some plywood, and using a SS blade for plywood, I was noticing that the blade was flexing and produced less than an even cut. I do not recall experiencing this before. I thought my cut was straight. My plyw...

Rehabbing SS Push Blocks
I'm needing to rehab my SS push blocks and am looking for ideas. My SS push blocks are old (grey) and the rubber on the bottom is deteriorating. I'm trying to decide with what to replace the bottoms. The original material looked like some type of foam/rubbery material. Cork is an idea. I welcome sug...

A bit for the SS track?
I was watching The Dusty Woodworker make a T-track directly into a wood piece, instead of installing a metal track. He used a router bit for this purpose. He said he thought there were many uses for a T-track directly into the wood. My question? Has anyone ever seen a router bit that would replicate...

Planer blades
Thanks everyone. You motivated me to replace my blades, with sharp ones. Yes, that was the problem. Thanks to Nick and the Sawdust Sessions for the guidance on how to do that.

Thanks Dusty
Thanks Dusty. As someone who is nearer the front end of this train of experience called woodworking, I have appreciated and learned from your posts and photos. Perhaps it is a sign of what you contributed, but I never fail to read your comments.
Much appreciated.

Why another floating table?
Thanks everyone. I am interested in a third floating table just for the extra expansion possibilities.
Mention was made of freebay and $99.00. What is freebay? Is this short hand for eBay? If so, I do not see many 520 floating tables there.

510 Floating Table Upgrade
Has anyone determined how much one needs to pay for a 510 floating table on e-bay along with the 520 upgrade parts from SS to end up with a 520 floating table at a lesser cost than purchasing the floating table from SS directly? If I am reading correctly, the new 520 floating table from SS (522468) ...
