The tubes are indeed 1.75". SN 362819
That revised rip fence isn't as expensive as I'd feared, but I'd still rather not have to buy one if the original can be found. My hopes aren't high but one never knows.....

First project with new/old Mv5
I'm still cleaning up my new-to-me greenie but just had to make something. We've had this peppermill for a while and it's never had a knob. Now it does, courtesy of a piece of firewood
