Ad calls it a 'table saw from the 1960s'. If the first digit of the serial number is a '2' then it was made in 1954 or 1955.

Penetrol isn't a filler but it will stop deep corrosion from getting worse. Wax will fill pits somewhat if you want a smoother surface.

Only watched the final segment with the Shopsmith so far. Nick Cupps did a decent job showing the machine. He could be a little smoother in changing over to the table saw mode but his story of buying the company is good for the product image. I like seeing the entire setup with the dust collector to...

Email notifications have been slow lately. If the app knows you viewed the new posts I don't think it sends out an email. However, somewhere in the queue there's a delay before I receive email notifications so I may get an email after I've viewed a new post.
