I have this same light for my DP and scroll Saw. They do the trick.

I wish the SS head stocks had an AC outlet.

Hi Jim,

I agree with you completely on the SS lights. I have four of them here. The nice thing is the two piece mounting bracket so you can move the light from tool to tool without any extra tools. Just attach a mounting bracket anywhere you want and slide on the light.

As for the outlet issue, I have most of my tools configured with outlets. The outlet plugs into the wall and the tool and light or anything else plugs into the tool mounted outlet. My wife's scroll saw has a SS light with the shade mounted magnifier. She loves it.
