Re: Buying a Used Shopsmith Revisited

Post by br549 »

So it does ... I missed that and went straight to the back cover as that's where I usually see dates. Perhaps a mistake in original document, or multiple documents were scanned and restored, depending on quality of individual original pages. Front cover also indicates it was printed 2/66, so let's just agree on the 1960's and let Everett bask in his accomplishment :)

Yes Everett included pages from more than one source(rightly so).

The 'original 1963 manual did not include the speed chart, but the parts manual did(my copy is indeed 1965, but Everett had a different copy).

I agree, regardless a great thing has been accomplished!!!!

Ya I was being just plain nit-pickey(same as when proofing it ;) )

I guess it sort of depends on "who is doing the nit-picking".

I'd say it depends upon 'who' is judgemental. ;)

Speaking of picking nits, it's spelled "judgmental." :)

As an attorney ye no doubt are aware that the nits are what makes thy profession 'interesting'.(aka fine print) :D

Also called paying attention to details.

By your link I am not sure that is totally true.
