I emailed mkc tools on Monday and still haven't heard back.

I found them locally to pickup this weekend.

BuckeyeDennis wrote:Those would be the correct modern belt sizes, according to 10 ER guru Skip Campbell, for a 1/2 hp motor.

What I’m confused about is why Skip specifically called out belt sizes for a 1/2 hp motor. As I understand it, the distance from the mounting feet to the shaft centerline should be the same for any Frame 56 motor. Not to mention shaft diameter, mounting-hole pattern, etc. In other words, all Frame 56 motors should be mechanically interchangeable in all critical mounting dimensions. This does exclude body length and diameter, which are not, strictly speaking, mounting dimensions (although they could affect clearances to the bench boards, etc.).

Perhaps the 3/4 hp motors available at the time were not Frame 56?
I read that post where Skip calls out the belt sizes for the 1/2 hp motor, but not for the 3/4 hp motor. This is the reason I was checking =).

Since I ended up finding them locally, I guess if it doesn't fix I could exchange them.

Skip moved several months ago, but the move hasn't gone smoothly. That was why I put the Hogwinslow link first. ;)
Good to hear you found some locally.

Skip posted this recently in the groups.io forum (replaced the old Yahoo 10ERusers group)

Thank you for asking Herb. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Still in process on the move. It turned in to a money pit. Everything is having to be remodeled. Termite damage, electrical total redo, foundation problems, much more than we were counting on. No internet service yet. Plus my back is out and will probably have to have surgery if they say my heart is up to it. Never the less, we love the new place. 5 acres of oak trees and a fishing pond out my back door. And 1 mile from my brother and best friends. God is good.
Thanks to Terry Hennesy for pitching in here on managing the group.

Update -

Installed the new on/off switch and fired up the motor! Runs good. I didn't notice anything excessive noise or vibration after the initial quick on-off. SS is mostly reassembled, but I still have some touch-up waxing to finish after removing some paint splatter and a large stain on the base plate.

All the new belts should be ready for pickup today and I will finally get to try out the SS! Hopefully the floating pulley on the speed changer function properly on the unevenly worn shaft.

Parts question with photos - I tried looking for these, but didn't have any luck. SS product page is only useful if you know exactly what your looking for.

I'm missing the knob that locks the tail stock to the base plate (manual part #2337 Screw-Socket-Knurl). Is this something that I could still purchase?

Also missing the miter gauge indicator button and spring (manual part # A2312 and A2313). Are these something that I could still purchase? May be from a new model? Update - Found the needed parts off a spare miter gauge!

Tail stock retaining bolt not likely anywhere.(wish I had one)

Any bolt/knob will work unless you want to mount the table low. Only the table mount bracket will interfere.

Missing spring and 'detent'? Welcome to the club! Somebody PLEASE take a pix of the detent pin.

The pointer is already shown in your pix.

I recommend a flat washer between the segment and the locking knob.

Also a thin shim washer between the bar and the segment at the clamp screw. The pivot already has a shoulder.

10ER knobs show up fairly regularly on eBay.

Essentially a dome (spherical) shape end or is it parabolic(bullet shape)?
