cleaning old sanding disk?

Post by eagspoo »

Any suggestions for how to get this stuff off? I soaked it in evapo-rust because it was so covered in rust I couldn't see the adhesive underneath. Worked great on the other side but on the face this film is pretty tough and I think there may be a backing layer.

Also, I know there are options for how to adhere the sanding disk (velcro?), what do people think is the best way to go?

Thanks
