Idler Shaft Assembly
On hold on the SS hotline ...so I figured I'd try to get the answer here while waiting.
I want to get a backup Idler assembly for my DIY PowerPro tool. This linked
item seems like what I want, and I do have the newer "split" eccentric shown in that service notice.

So - with this item, I assume I get the shaft (lol!) , and mounted bearings?
Anyone know?
thanks !

Re: Idler Shaft Assembly
Yes, that part number includes the shaft and bearings. If you want the eccentric, that is a separate line item.bainin wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 2:02 pm On hold on the SS hotline ...so I figured I'd try to get the answer here while waiting.

Re: Idler Shaft Assembly
My internet connection is down so please double check this. I have a new PP Idler, PN is on the bag but not completely legible. Also not 522741. I think that PN is for the conventional headstock. My PP DIY book lists the Idler as 522612. That looks like a probable match for the bag I have.

Re: Idler Shaft Assembly
If you have the PowerPro headstock that is probably what you need. The number that I gave is definitely not for the PowerPro. Sorry about that.
Do you have the manual that came with your DIY PowerPro Upgrade kit?

Re: Idler Shaft Assembly
My Mark 7 manual lists part number 522612 as the Idler Shaft Assembly. It is different than the Idler Shaft Assembly for the conventional headstock currently P/N 522741. On the website it is P/N 522612 PowerPro Idler Shaft Assembly at the link below.
