Caution Label on 1955 Greenie

I have an email into ShopSmith asking if it's available. If not available, I should be able to reproduce it using Avery 2" x 4" clear mailing labels and ink jet printer. Once printed, stick another blank label directly over the text and it should protect it.

Rear logo cover mounting method

Post by mickyd »

How is the ShopSmith Logo cover, ref #46on the back of the Greenie headstocks held on? I am wondering if the current method shown on the exploded view was used.

From the current catalog:

516627 - Speed Chart Label, Item #68, $3.25

516626 - Warning Label, Item #99, 4.80

The status on both parts is "Quantity is Low"

Order like any other part and keep your fingers crossed that it does not go on Back Order.

Logo plate was held on with push nuts and a rubber washer to minimize vibration.

You might head down to a trophy shop and have them make you an engraved self adhesive caution plate. Might also add a warning that if you are caught touching this beautifully restored SS that your life might be forfeit.
