These drawer slides have their own internal stops that lock the drawers in place until you pull them past the stops again to open them.

The finish is two coats of urethane.

Nice job ,, a mixture of hobbies keeps us sane !! what kind of glue did you use ?

It is just basic Titebond wood glue holding it together.
