Help identifying newly acquired SS parts

How can I tell if it is bad? I have started cleaning and prepping the jointer which has one attached so the one pictured is a spare or scrap metal. Supposely, the jointer was last used right before we picked up the SS and it had fairly fresh sawdust, but the blades don't look like they have ever been off the head. It took soaking in Koil to get them loose. I will have them sharpened and maybe have them back for a test run this weekend or at least back the following weekend.
