The height of the chuck body only is about 1 3/4" if you don't measure the jaw mounts or the jaws or the spindle adapter. The diameter is about 3.5".

I have one, and LOVE it! I run it on an antique
Cast Iron ShopSmith (Model 10) and it works just
fine. Second best addition to the 10ER. Skip's
DC motor kit is the first.

Oh, common consent around here, if you want
to run a lathe, or drill-press, the Model 10 is
the best for those functions. (Lifting the 10ER,
to drill-press mode, not so much. Too much
Cast Iron.)

steve
10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
