tubes available

Post by farley »

I have some SS tubes that are available.

They have been cut down to 14 inches and 34 inches.
four of each size.

the 14s are good if you are making a dedicated drill press. I used about 10 inches.
the 34s are good for a mini, they are 2 inches short for a nice shorty (don't ask how I know).
anyway, if you are in the Tucson Arizona area, they are free if needed

Just out of curiosity, what functionality is lost at 34" for a shorty?

Thanks for the kind offer, Farley, BUT I am going to resist the temptation. I have down sized into a much smaller shop and I no longer have the capacity to store these treasures.

functionality lost--- I put a 500 table on it (which is smaller than others) and it was a tad short for a disk sander on the quill. If I ran the disk up the slot, no problem. I had the tubes and the time to make it a little longer, so I did.

Glad to see you are still around Dusty
