This one was pretty easy. Just used some 4x4 Cedar post, the band saw and a large forstner bit for the LED mount.
I didnt show it- but i routed a channel along the back of the post to run the wires and made a press fit cover to secure it.
I'll probably work out the details to make it solar powered at some point, but I just purchased 4 sheets of Birch ply to make some shop tables, so it might be awhile.
The ply is sitting as the lady fell thru the attic ceiling yesterday and now Im trying to master drywall heh. (shes ok)

Re: Cedar Bollard with LED Light
You did a great job. It really looks beautiful. I also always managed to install LED lights without problems. And recently came across an LED smart bulb on Amazon and immediately ordered several such bulbs for me. And I didn't even know that now LED bulbs can be so cool and bright. I can use special software installed to adjust any color of light that I need in the room, isn't that cool? Yes, mostly I use only ordinary light, but sometimes if you do a party, you can even adjust the red color of the light. If we come back to you, you did a great job!
