Indexing Head
I am looking at building an indexing head for my Shopsmith. Has anyone done this? I wasn't able to find anything useful with a search. Thanks Larry
Re: Indexing Head
Search for "Index wheel" or "index jig"

Great info in that thread, including links to inexpensive plastic and metal indexing wheels.rpd wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 12:43 pm

I tend to think of indexing for drilling/milling operations, for woodworking purposes using those wheels on a basic rotating table should work also.

Re: Indexing Head
Rather than buying an indexing disk, you could use this method of printing them with whatever division you need.

Hi,
My view on this was that I would be happy with relatively few stops in an Indexing device.
Here was what I did:

Happy tinkering!
