ProPlaner with Mesquite

Post by everettdavis »

Anyone ran mesquite through a pro Planer ?

Have a project coming up that would save money if I could do it in house.

I would try it. If your blades are sharp and you take small bites, it should work. I have done hickory with good results.

And I've planed Osage Orange with very good results. Accoring to wood-database.com, it's even harder than mesquite.
