Plugs on the duplicator

Post by easterngray »

I had a bunch of old cedar so I thought I’d turn some striped bass and bluefish topwater plugs with the lathe duplicator. First go-around was pretty good.

Yup; it’s amazing that I found it given the condition of my shop... 🙄

Yes; big surf casting plugs. The cedar is pretty light though, so they’re only big dimensionally.

This take me back to 2007 when I did some large lures. If you want to see them they are in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=515&hilit=cedar

I still have an unfinished body and treble hooks some where in the shop, I wonder where???

Hooks have protective sleeves and they are in a screw lid container, I should be safe.
