I looked into the double tilt a while back and don't have a clue why I didn't go ahead and get it, I think I figured out for what I wanted to do I could turn the carriage around. it was a bit strange making adjustments from the opposite side but wasn't a big issue . actually if I remember right I had to turn the headstock around so it would be on the bottom when I stood it up and not on top as a drill press .
