My first box joint project.
This was my first box joint boxs. I am mostly a wood carver . I have made a few boxes but had never done box joints. My first trys did not go well. I was using a jig on the miter gage. I finally made a sled and it all worked. Thankful for YouTube. It is poplar and pine.

Very nice. That’s still something I want to learn how to do.

Nice work.
I've made a lot of small boxes using the box joint like that. I use my miter gauge and a jig I made to do it. It works well. I also use the jig and the box joint for drawers because it makes for nice strong drawers.

Excellent work!

Are you making an heirloom spot welder? (I don't know why but you'll have to jump up to 12:45 to see the finished box)
