Yes and truth be known, I was thinking of a coping saw (sorta).
I remembered yours after posting that. Rotating and compact storing did not coexist there.(IIRC)

Pretty good type of rip saw I suppose. Bow saws are pretty common. I have my dad's bow saw somewhere, pretty sure there's no way to rotate the blade but I guess I'll have to find it and check.
