polish suggestions

Any one have a suggestion for a polish on antlers? thinking about turning a antler into a pen and a handle . I have seen videos where they used ca glue am curious about other polish's or buffing compounds .

In my experience, bucks prefer the bark of maple saplings for buffing their antlers. :D

I've not worked with antlers, but have used friction polish on wood pens. It gives a nice, smooth finish without the high shine of something like CA. I can't remember what brand I used, not Mylands but something similar that Woodcraft had in stock that day I went in years ago; a little goes a very long way.

I tried buffing compound and a buffing wheel attached to the shopsmith , it worked to some degree but didnt seem to give the finish I was hoping for .

I thought those deer were hobbyist and were polishing the trees ?
