Re: Looking for suggestion
Manually loaded battery powered screw gun or drill/ driver. I currently use Ryobi 18v lithium or Bosch 14v.
Thanks JPG for your helpful reply and I still use hand held tools but can only keep my arms up for so long that power tools help a lot.- JPG

A shaft extender may help(reduce the elevation required).

Re: Looking for suggestion
Yes but due to torn bicep surgery that didn’t help the weight still becomes a problem. Rotator cuff surgery went well I guess 1 out of two isn’t that bad
Re: Looking for suggestion
If you have a chance check out the worx 20v , it is smaller and lighter than a lot of them, ours is now 4 years old still works great . we bought the double pack that came with the impact drill and the regular drill , the impact drives screws like butter . JMO porter cable had some small drills but they seem heavier than the worx . https://www.lowes.com/pd/WORX-POWER-SHA ... 5001503089

Re: Looking for suggestion
I had 4 back to back shoulder surgeries , 2 on each shoulder , both torn bicep and rotator cuff , dr fixed them and tore them again , fixed it the second time and tore them again, said no more surgeries 4 years was enough to be laid up , so I can feel your pain , no pun intended , it takes a long time for those to heal . and a long time to be able to extend the arm and twist it like it is supposed to . wood working and the shopsmith has been the best therapy out of all, getting the coordination back and finding small projects can be a challenge .

Well I pulled the trigger literally and figuratively and bought one 2.4 lbs saw one that was .1 less but no batteries or charger. This one came with gun, 2 batteries, charger and traveling case. Bought it at Northern Tool & Equipment.
