That's about all I can say! Simply Beautiful Boat!

Whooda thunk putting a Mark V on board to make/finish some parts? Like Bill said - Imagination is limitless.

Thanks for posting, Q!:D

Thanks, charlese!

Though my Shop Smith isn't highlighted in my most recent blog article, we couldn't have gotten to this point without it.

I've finally got a place to put my shafts now. The strut barrels are installed!

You are doing a great job on rebuilding this boat. It is good to see one saved and brought back to life. When I look at it I wonder how many of the people that worked on this boat in Holland that I knew. That was one big building where these boats were made. Keep us posted as you go. Ivan

Thanks, Ivan. I really can't wait to get to the interior. I've got a stack of mahogany marine plywood and several hundred board feet of African mahogany just waiting for carbide bits to make it all pretty! First things first, though...

With all of the preparation done, I finally retired Tent Model IX and replaced it with Model X...hopefully, the last tent I'll ever build.

It's been a long, cold winter...kinda tough to get enthused about going to the boatyard. I did manage to get shop space set up under the bow.

I used my Shopsmith bandsaw to cut aluminum gussets for the new engine beds I'm making.

"To keep myself awake, I broke out the heavy artillery and turned on liberal talk radio…better to get temporarily high blood pressure from listening to nonsense that doesn’t stand up to critical thinking than to fall asleep while driving."

LOVE THIS!!

Thanks for keeping up to date on this resto. Reading it really makes my day.

Thanks, Steve!
You've got to be careful with that liberal talk radio...an overdose could be dangerous! ;-)

In other news, I got my bow seat windows back!
