This wasn't a total bargain (purchase wasn't cheap at all), but the price would have been a lot higher if the electronic-auction hadn't misspelled the brand name and caused this item to miss discovery by some search-terms :) . I before E.....

These are mine now, a matched set of Lie Nielsen 102 and 103 planes.... They are really nice and dense, but small enough to not be excessively heavy. "White Bronze" limitied edition!

SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

That's right. The 102 has a 12-degree bed angle, and the 103 has a 20-degree bed angle.
