If this lathe duplicator is unused and like new as is claimed it's probably a decent deal at $150.
https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/tls/d ... 12016.html

As summer goes on some asking prices continue to drop, but some new listings are absurdly high. Some are up in the thousands for Model 500 machines. They look clean and have a lot of accessories extra, but no where near those prices in value. Used Shopsmiths have little inherent value, it's all about local supply and demand, and around here the supply far exceeds the demand.

The table is in bad shape, a fairly large chunk appears to be broken off in the front left corner. Still a great deal IMO if there is no significant damage to anything else. These OARs are a bit hard to come by, and tend to command a good price on the used market. I have one and love it.

Go Get it!
I was very hesitant after having just received MickyD’s equipment; I had just figured out how to make it all fit in my garage and couldn’t imagine squeezing one more tool into the little space. So with your encouragement I decided, WTH, why not try?!? Too late, it was already sold. Bummer, it would have been nice to have that in my toolset.

At $200, If you’re looking for an old Mark VII this looks like quite a deal, especially since it comes wit a bandsaw , Jointer, and a bunch of original supplies. It’s up the coast from Los Angeles, in Port Huneme. The ad includes more photos.

This Mark V looks like it and the SPTs are in good shape. Has bandsaw, jointer, blades, and covers. In Coachella Valley, near Palm Springs.

Here's two Mark 5s in San Diego's Old Town for $650 each. I'm not saying these are great deals, but there's some other things that someone may be interested in, such as a jigsaw, bandsaw, jointer, and two sprayers(?), as well as a bunch of parts and original manuals and documentation. The manuals include a "Confidential, Not for Customer Use" hard cover book; not sure what that is.

Heads up if you have a Mark VII. There is a motor and switch for sale on eBay. This is the first one I have seen, and i was looking for a long time. I'd consider it myself, but recently bought an entire second machine.

Thanks, Mike
