I was getting ready to get the phone then I saw it was in NC. Why does it say ( Shopsmith Mark V - $495 (Denver) I was going to be all over it, if it was Denver, Co. It would have be worth the 8 hr drive, but not the 17 hr to NC.

Never opened Brad point bits, Lathe tools, & tool rest.
As I drove away I felt sorry for the guy that sold this to me....
He had no Shopsmith and I had four....
Then I thought just maybe he was the lucky one...
Immune to this disease that afflicts so many....
Does anyone know if the gold tone is thin coating or is it solid?
Will it buff away?

The only comment I have is that they are half-inch, knot 3/4".
