Bill Mayo Memorial

Post by Ed in Tampa »

I just got this from Ann Bills wife.

Hi Ed,

This is Ann, Bill Mayo's wife. I'm using Bill's computer.

I want to let you know that there will be a Celebration of Life for Bill on May 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Brandon. The address is 1331 S. Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL Any of Bill's Shopsmith friends are welcome. We will have lunch following the service.

I would appreciate knowing if anyone plans to attend so we can plan lunch appropriately. Please use my email address.

Thank you,
Ann

If anyone is going please PM me and I will pass a count on to Ann.

I also asked Ann If there was going to be flowers or if they were making requests for donations to be made in Bill's name to a particular charity.

I also asked if there was an address anyone could send condolences.

I will let you all know when Ann replies.

I just got this from Ann
Hi Ed,
My address is 3031 Turkey Creek Road, Plant City, FL 33566.

Rather than flowers I think Bill would like it people were to donate to the Akita Rescue Society of Florida, 2364 Emerson Street, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Phone #(904) 398-5786. Web site is arsf@juno.com
Donations are tax deductible.

This is where we get our dogs. Bill really favored this breed.

I have gotten cards from several of the shopsmith fellows. Even though I don't know them, it's so nice of them to think of me & my family.

Thanks for taking care of this for me.

My sincere condolence to his family and friends.

Bill Mayo extended both knowledge and parts as I worked to repair my first shopsmith.
I was so thankful that I've held onto the envelope he sent me to this day.

Thanks Ed for keeping everyone up to date. I'm so sad to hear Bill has been called up to the heavenly workshop. I wish I had been in the area to attend his service. I will make a donation in his honor.
