Retirement Day!!

Post by everettdavis »

Today is the day I retire after 28.8 years of service at the end of our agency's fiscal year.

I have worked with many fine people in my career at Lubbock County and it has been a privilege and honor.

Congrats on your retirement. I have been retired since Dec. 1999 and have never regretted it for one second. May you have nothing but fair skies and wind in your sails. Enjoy your retirement... you earned it!

Just because you are "retired" do not believe for one second that you will have more spare time or time for your own projects. It just does not seem to work that way.

CONGRATULATIONS, Everett.

Congratulation on this milestone in your life.

I retired in 2001 and still haven't even come close to getting to all the things I want to do. Still never seems like I have enough time for most of them.

As with many things in life, the tasks will expand to exceed the available time.

May this new period also expand beyond your current expectations!!

Stop and smell the roses!

Congratulations!!!
