Today is a Holy day that is referred to as Christmas for an obvious reason.

I for one prefer to not dilute that by referring to it as a holiday.

I realize it has become PC to refer to it as something far less than it deserves.

A shining example of what I consider to be the foolishness of striving to be PC.

No personal offense meant Brenda, but I really do feel strongly about this calling a spade a digging device silliness.

One thing that really riles me is a Salvation Army bell ringer saying happy holiday.

So MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone regardless of thy beliefs.

No offense taken. Holidays, as used by my family when I was growing up, has always referred to Christmas day and New Year celebrations not some PC catch all phrase.
