Been interesting to try and get my walks in the last while. Hot and humid and air action alerts do not make it easy but today's early morning walk was pretty cool in a lot of ways.
First a shot of the sky:
Before we get any farther here is another shot zoomed in a bit:
On the first shot can any of you pick out the hawk?
More of a silhouette then anything.
This shot is from a different angle with the sun shining on it and a lot closer.
Then there are these two videos

And yes I was pretty close.
The other thing I wanted to note was this mother duck showing her little ones where to find mulberries to snack on. Who knew ducks like mulberries??
I shot 255 pictures this morning, so be thankful I'm only sharing these few.

Re: Early morning walk pictures and more
My wife thinks the wild mulberries falling on our exercise trail are fewer in number this year... Would you agree? I don't know who else to ask
Re: Early morning walk pictures and more
Yes less mulberries here too. I love them and go to several places to pick and eat. A couple of places had none, never had that happen before. So far the wife has not gotten any, I usually pick some for her but slim pickings.
Black berries on the other hand are doing well. I ate a few on today's walks, a few meaning all that I could reach from the path.
Our strawberries and cherries are doing well here on the home front, the most cherries we have ever had.
