That was hard to watch! Not only because of all the sniffling (sorry about that) but because I’m so dang rusty! You really do lose muscle memory if you don’t stay in practice. Scott

I just can't seem to nail the thumbnails on these vids. Perhaps this one will do.

Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLVU0o2 ... =60&t=333s

I've shared photos of my homemade steady rest on the @MyGrowthRings Instagram feed and since my schedule got side-tracked this weekend I figure it was a good time to share it with you. I also take a few minutes to show my "candy cane-style" Shopsmith chisel holder and take one more stab at trying to explain how and why I made my honing hand-wheel, or "Dingus" as it is now known.

0:00 - Intro
0:19 - My Shop-made Shopsmith steady rest
5:48 - Shopsmith (Buck Bros) Chisel holder
6:48 - One more look at the Honing Hand-Wheel "Dingus"

Products used in this video (in no particular order)
- Klein double-ended wrench AKA "Shopsmith Toolbox": https://amzn.to/3gYAMgM
- Inline skate wheels with bearings. This set is similar to the wheels I used and would be my choice if I were replacing them: https://amzn.to/3rw4Aaj That said, I'm really tempted to give these a whirl: https://amzn.to/3jqBiqO
