Ripping & Resawing on a Shopsmith Bandsaw W/ Cast Iron Table

Those who own the Shospmtih Bandsaw with the original cast iron table can take advantage of the cleverly designed cross-slots in the table that allow the standard Shopsmith miter gauge to be used as a fence that easily adjusts to accommodate the blade drift that is a natural occurrence when using this bandsaw. This video covers the easy set-up of this feature.

Here are links to a few of the products I used in the previous video:
🟢 This is the Timber Wolf 1/2" x 72" 4 TPI bandsaw blade that I use for all resawing the Shopsmith bandsaw: https://amzn.to/34ShtU5 It's a poor choice for the second cut I made in 3/4" stock. I normally I'd use the following blade.
🟢 Here's my go-to 1/4" Timber Wolf bandsaw blade: https://amzn.to/3lcuf4L
🟢 SpecTape is my favorite temporary double-sided tape: https://amzn.to/3uHEtPw

I'm not sure why those links get messed up when they are copied from Youtube and shared here, but here they are:

Should you add a Magfence II to your Shopsmith Bandsaw? Let's find out.

After cleaning the rust off of my neighbor Chuck's old Shopsmith bandsaw it's time to play with the Magfence II that Carter Products sent me to try. This product is really cool, but there's a little more to it than meets the eye. If you have a bandsaw with a cast iron table this might be worth a look.
