Should you add a Magfence II to your Shopsmith Bandsaw? Let's find out.

After cleaning the rust off of my neighbor Chuck's old Shopsmith bandsaw it's time to play with the Magfence II that Carter Products sent me to try. This product is really cool, but there's a little more to it than meets the eye. If you have a bandsaw with a cast iron table this might be worth a look.

There's something about the links that gets messed up when Chad copies and pastes them here. They work if you go to the video and open the video description, but that takes a lot of effort.

Yeah, the links are correct for last year's posts for Scott's channel, but this year they have been posted with broken links in this thread. If you go back and check previous posts this year you will see they all do this. I don't think anyone caught it until now, though I pointed out a problem with one of them a while back...

I copy and paste the links exactly as they appear in the video description from Youtube. What else should I do?

Chad,

This is for the April 16th post that you did (see above). All of the links listed above do NOT work except for the line "Visit http://www.MyGrowthRings.com". These links on your posts work on the 2020 posts that you did, but in 2021 your posts have some broken links like this. When you click on them you get a 404 error. Maybe go back and look at your 2020 posts in this thread and compare to one of these recent ones.

I don't understand why they don't work? The links with the "..." are the same for me on Youtube. If I go to the video description and look at the links, they have the "..." They don't just magically appear when I copy and paste them here on the forum. I don't alter the links in any way. I don't know how to fix them.

Well, those are re-direct links on YouTube so you have to click through them to get the actual link, or copy and paste text only (not hyperlink). I guess it makes sense that if you only copy and pasted them, then that is why they are messed up on the forum.
