Winter Sunsets in Utah

Post by jsburger »

It is the time of the year when we have beautiful sunsets. The clouds make all the difference. In the summer the sky is so clear there are no clouds. That changes in the winter. The first three were takne in November and the last one was taken today.

Spectacular!

Yes, we see them most days this time of year. The look changes by the minute so it is hard to get the perfect picture (what ever that is).

Something we get here in the valley once in a while. This year it has been not much so far. The mountains are a bit dry but have got over 3 feet so far. Pretty light for this time of the year. 500+ inches is a good year at the ski resorts. 8,000 t0 10,000 feet.

Not as spectacular as that Utah Light Show ...but still a moment of peace to appreciate here in NC.

No fairs you guys, our winters are in black and white, and primarily gray.

I just realized that I used to live near where you are, we were in Riverdale UT in the mid 90's. I had been thinking that Hooper was in a different part of the state. But that is Helper.
