Watch the left side of screen for some movement before it appears. Too bad it decide to set where we couldn't see much for a bit of grooming.

The batteries were too weak to do much overnight and the new camera came today. I set it up and got it out for the night. Dropped another dead mouse along the trail hoping it will stop for a moment to at least smell it. Looking forward to seeing what the new camera does for the videos.

Two things that I found that were not clearly spelled out, at least to me, was the night videos are only 20 second, even when set to 30 seconds. I would have preferred to have 30 seconds even if that uses more battery. The second thing was that the new feature called "Smart IR Video" is a daytime feature only. This feature starts the recording and rather then just ending at the 30 second(daytime) if it detects movement it will keep recording for up to 5 minutes. Again I did not know this was daytime only.

Hope to have some new videos to look at in the morning.

I do not imagine you have many cars in your neighborhood, the Fox will clear them out!

Send the fox down here. We have some feral cars here that I would like to get rid of, but the neighbors keep feeding them.

I think the video is much better!

The fox comes though to make is appearance on camera and then shortly after an opossum shows up and want equal time. We also learn that frozen mouse is on the to be eaten menu for opossums. Glad something can benefit.

Fox is in the first one and the rest have the opossum:

Pretty cool to have one in your yard . a few years ago we were catfishing along a local river bank and had one come right up to us , be advised they like chicken liver , and catfish ..

No fox last night but I wanted to have you see the very first animal that captured on the new camera. The rabbit seems to notice the new camera and look right at it. This camera has invisible IR illumination and I can tell you I can't see it but maybe a rabbit can?

Then a cat came by to check out the yard. Doesn't seem to care that a fox comes through. This fox is small, maybe this past years pup?? Anyway I don't think the cat is in any danger.
