I am waiting for my used DC3300 to be delivered by my lovely granddaughter but wondered if anyone would be so kind as to list the inside and outside diameters of the hose ends. There are a couple of attachments that I want to get ordered and one is a 4" to 2 1/2" adapter.

ID, I'm getting 2.07". OD is slightly tapered, and mine is also a bit warn, I get 2.312" at the base to 2.275" near the end.

What is commonly referred to as 2 1/2 has fittings close to 2 1/4.
As David mentioned above the hose ends are tapered.
On a fitting(rt angle) it measured at 2 1/4 od and 2 5/16 id.
