I am beyond help.
Obviously I am beyond help.
At least from directives given by UPS customer service.
I ordered 6 items from Amazon - Tiger Brand JS-100 Jack Posts, each capable of lifting 18,000 pounds.
I have to re-level and replace wooden post columns on my patio.
UPS arrived yesterday with a package failing to fully contain four (4) of the six (6) I ordered.
Two boxes were missing entirely, and components of internal boxes had opened and fallen out, in addition to two boxes also that had burst open, that lay outside and under the original as seen on porch.
UPS customer service repeatedly told me to call Amazon and get an RMA to return the items I am missing and UPS would pick the package up and return it to Amazon.
I asked and rephrased that question to them every way I could phrase it.
Obviously I am beyond their help.

Re: I am beyond help.
I am guessing this was a three party transaction. Party three needs to be contacted(the shipper).

Re: I am beyond help.
Ordering crap online is so much fun! That is why I still "BUY LOCAL" whenever possible. What burns me is that many of my local stores list the products I want, but don't stock them in the local stores so I still have to order through their website and wait for damaged products to arrive. Why have a store if you don't have the products on the shelf?

Re: I am beyond help.
Why stock a 5/8-18 tap when only one person over the last 15 years even knew they existed.
Why stock 5/16-18 low profile cap screws with a 5/32 hex socket when . . . (see above).
Mail order made obtaining them possible(trick was to find a 'vendor' willing to sell single pieces rather than boxes of 100).
Yes the "5/8" and "5/16" above are correct. The thread pitch matching is coincidental.

Re: I am beyond help.
UNS, Unified Special. We had some of them on the aircraft generators I used to overhaul for the Air Force. The other one was UNJ on the F-22 generator.
