Looking to find the value of a piece I've intertied from my grandfather. ER71727

From what I can see in the one picture at your link, it looks like it could use some work. It is hard to put a price on it since many factors will affect it. Condition, how complete it is, any additional accessories and location all play a part in what would be a reasonable price. Check prices they are advertised for near you but keep in mind they are the asking price and not the price they may be sold for. An indication of tools priced too high is how long they have been for sale. When advertising it I would suggest more pictures than the one you linked and do show all the parts and accessories included.

Serial Number 71727 would be a Model 10ER made in 1952. The Shopsmith Model 10E followed by the Model 10ER were made from 1947 through 1953.
