The Serial Numbers on nearly all of my Shopsmith equipment are attached using a self-adhesive aluminum label. This labels are beginning to peal off. Has anyone attempted to acquire new labels.
I would sure like to be able to accurately relabel this equipment. Someday down the road, someone (probably my grandkids) are going to be interested in that information and I would like for it to be there in some authenicated format.
I maintain a rather detailed list of my equipment (serial numbers/date and location of purchase/price paid, etc) but I hate to think that my labels are about to fall off.
Guess I should call Shopsmith Customer Service. I'd do that right now but they are closed due to inclement weather.

Serial Number Labels
Hi Dusty,
Would you consider using a hand held engraver to permanently mark your equipment with their s/n? An engraver may cost less than obtaining new labels from SS. Another method would be to use a number/letter stamp set.
