Questionable Site

Post by dusty »

Can anyone tell me anything about "shanamohyro"?

I have been dealing with this site for the last few weeks. It shows up on my lower tool bar periodically as a web site at hotmail.com. I don't know how to prevent it. So far, as far as I know, it is just a nuisance - I hope.

Not a virus I don't think but I would count on it probably being malware or something you installed unintenionally.

Download Malwarebytes and run it when it is done click on Show Results then click remove all which all of the malware should be checked off by default. You will have to reboot when it completes. Also make sure you update it before you run the Quick Scan.
