Oneida Multi-Cyclone DIY Dust Deputy Design Kit

Post by RFGuy »

Just saw this today advertised on an unrelated website, so I assume it is new? Looks like a poor man's version of the new Supercell dust collector from Oneida. Basically it is just 3 dust deputy cyclones in parallel, but you have to provide 2 of your own shop vacuums and your own dust collection bin. I did something similar for my Festool CT26 by putting 2 cheap Chinese cyclones in parallel to minimize airflow restriction from the cyclones to prolong the life of my vacuum bags...

It is still kind of an expensive kit from Oneida, but I guess if you already have a couple of good shop vacuums already, the added cost for this isn't too bad.
