Congrats !

I always wonder how much different the experience would be from what I have ...a used DIY Powerpro upgrade and 510 base to
a shiny new factory made .

Let us know how it goes ,

I can't wait for it to get here... I hope the weather holds long enough to make a few cuts before I have to tuck it in for winter.

I think you’re really going to like it. I upgrade 8 or so years back and have not regretted doing the upgrade. I attended a Doug Reid online seminar on the PowerPro upgrade and received the double-tilt upgrade as part of the combined upgrade purchase.

Congrats and enjoy. Now’s the time to plan new woodworking projects using your new tool purchase

Well here we are December 12 and it hasn't shipped yet. It was supposed to ship somewhere around December 2nd. So... Anyway we got 13 inches of snow Friday night and it's cold. I had contacted the mothership to see if it's harmful to run the Power Pro in cold weather and they said it won't even turn on if the temp is under 40 degrees... Ha... good to know. So anyway still in a holding pattern.

So to relieve my sorrow I bought a 1995 510 SS with a Bandsaw for $300 off of FB. It's all gummed up so it needs a good cleaning and oiling and waxing and then I think I'm going to give it my son. Or keep it... The wife might have something to say about that. She's already said what are you going to do with 3 SS's. LOL... I said use em.
