Nope. In fact she was like open it open it. I shall hopefully begin set up this weekend. I do have a few honey do's to knock of the list first but it shouldn't take all weekend. Plus I have to get that 1995 put back together and working.

Congratulations, I think you will really like this machine. When you reach this point in the unpacking, can I request a photo of the inside of the Base Arm where you unlock it go to Drill Press or Under Table modes? I'm trying to determine which Double Tilt type is the latest, pretty sure that is what you have. ;) The one I think it is will have a couple of screws off to the sides of the release/engage knob.

We'll all understand if that '95 model gets de-prioritized for a while. I'm usually a two-Mark shop, but for a long while after I got a PowerPro it was all I used.

So I had a fall the other day and fractured my pelvis. So I'm laid up and my SS Mark 7 is sitting out in the garage killing me softly... This morning my son says "dad lets get out in the garage and get that SS put together. I'll do all the work and you just guide me through the steps." So I sat on a stool and and read the instructions and only helped flip it over to get the legs on and put on the casters. We had the pot heater on and got the garage warm enough that the PowerPro worked... Wow... it is soooooo incredibly quiet. The sounds it makes getting up to speed is almost addicting. Here some pix for you guys. Enjoy

Yes, thank you. Not what I expected, but it answered my question. Your DT bases are different than mine, which are less than two years old and which I already knew were different than original. You also answered another question I had, which is how similar the factory motor cover is to the DIY. I like the factory location for the power cord better than the DIY location, and I'm wondering why we did it that way. Looks like you installed the caster sets twice. ;) Glad you found a helper to get it together. Your machine looks great!
