Post by gchapman »

Does anyone know of a source for a replacement Speed Control Cam for a Mark VII? I managed to melt mine this weekend.

I would be surprised if Shopsmith did not offer it. They had everything I needed for my Mark V.

Consider yourself 'surprised'.

They occasionally appear on e-bay.

There is finite number of them.

They are getting rarer.

Wish I had better news!

wasn't there a discussion sometime last year about someone that was going to
reproduce these?
I Know I read a lengthy discussion and cannot remember if it was here or not.
Anyone else remember this?
I would think it be worth it to make it out of aluminum instead.
It doesn't look like that complicated a part, but I've never seen one up close and personal, only in pictures and discussions with pictures.
Anyone asked Skip Campbell at MKC Tools yet?
