PowerPro Webinar

Post by SDSSmith »

I was surprised at the number of folks participating in yesterday's PowerPro Webinar with Doug Reid. Seemed like about 5 folks at the 'early' session and only 2 at the 'scheduled' session. Did everyone get the invite?

No. How were the invites communicated?

PowerPro Webinar

Post by dusty »

NO, I did not. I'm not one of the chosen few.

What is a PowerPro Webinar? Does it relate to the Shopsmith PowerPro or something else. Google Powerpro Webinar and you'll see why I ask.

If it was related to the Shopsmith PowerPro, was it intended only for current PowerPro owners or would it have benefited (or influenced) us regular users?

A Web based Seminar to discuss the PowerPro...is that the answer to my original question?

This was the first I've heard about it.

I also received no invitation. Nor do I recognize the name of the instructor (if that's the right term).

Shopsmith PowerPro Webinar

Post by admin »

Shopsmith is testing a free 30 minute live demonstration webinar of the Shopsmith PowerPro. At the conclusion of each session there will be a live question and answer session. The maximum number of people in any one webinar session is limited so that everyone's questions can receive the attention they need.

We've limited the number of invitations each time to minimize "session full" responses during registration, but plan to rotate through our list.

Thank you very much for the response. I certainly hope this proves as worthwhile as I believe the Sawdust Sessions were.

Well, how about that......I was a guinea pig. Shopsmith sent out an email invitation at the beginning of the month. As noted, the maximum number was limited (I thought to 20) so you had to pre-register for the event. Unfortunately for Doug, there were a number of technical issues that precluded 'hearing' some of the presentation.

I guess since we Californians (and other areas of the US) have not been put on the demo schedule, the webinar provides another means to demonstrate new products to us and provide incentives to purchase. Just like you other folks have gotten at the Lowes demos.

Now I'm worried I think (something this old mind has problems with at times) I may have seen something come past me. The name seems to ring a bell. I hope I didn't get an invite and just sloff it off as spam.
Wish Shopsmith would have let us know what it was before they started the invite process. I would have been looking for one.

Of course I have yet to get my catalog that everyone else seems to have gotten also.
