You're right about that. I have a John Deere lawn tractor that he LOVES to ride with me. He'll ride around the yard with me for hours at a time if I will let him. When we do ride I NEVER turn on the mower blade for safety reasons and we never ride faster than a crawl.

When he comes to stay with us, the first thing he says when walking into the house is; "I want to go see the BIG John Deere". (He has a small John Deere ride on, so mine is the BIG John Deere.

A local IDIOT set a childs chair on the deck of a zero turn radius mower, let his daughter sit in it while mowing his lawn.

Sadly the worst DID happen!

Wow, tdubnik!! You have a very lucky Grandson. Thank you for showing us your crafted beautiful, imaginary toys, coffee/play table and cookie press! You have set the bar pretty high for being a Christmas elf, as well as an accomplished woodworker!:D

Wonderful ideas and should be bumped up next fall so the rest of us can get some ideas for our families holidays. Great craftsmanship and painting.

Yes, mostly made on my Shopsmith and it was for my granddaughter of 17 months. She was excited, for what I don't know. The wheels do make a lot of noise. I purchased the pegs, wheels, half balls and eyes. The rest cut on the bandsaw. Purchased the plan for about $10. For about $30 before I even flipped a switch. You can tell by the wheels she's been having the time of her life. Don't know how long her affection with it will last, but it has served its purpose.
