Just to be sure I was looking at the right one, I called the local Menards & had a guy in hardware go & look for a 2" friction caster in the store area I remembered picking mine out. I had him read the sku to me & it matched the one on the website.
Now, I can't promise that it's the one because I'm not in the store looking at it (and I don't have my receipt anymore), but the wheel size matches up & there was only one stem size to choose from. The pic on the web looks a little different, but it might just be a different vendor.

Trainguytom, from the picture of the casters you posted, it looks like the wheels are always in contact with the floor regardless of what position the lift pedal is in. Do the legs of the Shopsmith rest on the floor when the casters are retracted?
Gotta love these online 'details/specifications' that reveal little.

The work JUST like the Shopsmith casters. I think the pic I posted might have been deceptive in that the gray part you see next to the wheel is the caster assembly side, not the SS leg. They really are a "drop in" part.
I've been using them on both my MK5's for a while now & just love them.

I know the web pic looks a little different, (Maybe it is) but all I can say is that I've been using them. Maybe before anyone takes the online plunge, someone with a Menards nearby can stop in to check. I'll do that next time I go past just to make sure the guy read my the skew from the right wheel, as well.
Maybe the guy read the number off a larger one or something. I can't remember if there's more than one size, but the web site does say 2" wheel & that's the SS size & the size of the ones I bought.

I just tried to order these, there web site is as good as the product spec's, it keeps asking for a store location (none on the east coast), and I'm having a difficult time bypassing that requirement.
I've sent them an email asking how to order them online. Waiting for a reply
If there's no way past that, I can always pick up some when I go by. I'm sure I can ship them to you for about the same as Menards can ship them. Send me a PM if you have to do it that way. (If I'd known they would be hard to get, I'd have started selling them on Ebay at a profit....not really)

His pix does not show the leg. Only the caster casting and the caster itself is in the pix. The casting is gray.
