I would like to have a Mark II "just because" but right now I would have to pass even on a good one that was cheap and close. Just too much money flying in too many directions right now.
I would also like to pick up a Shopsmith RAS and a Sawsmith 2000 "eventually" also "just because"... :)

I saw the Mark II advertised the other day. Looks like it might be a good deal but I don't really know that much about the Mark II though.

Big issue is I really don't have the space available in my garadge/shop right now.

I almost had my hands on a Shopsmith RAS a while back. Found one for sale for $50 on Craig's List in Houston. I called the guy and he still had it, but he couldn't give me the couple weeks I would need to pick it up. This was on Saturday. So I called some friends there and they said they could go by and pick it up Monday after work. Called the guy back and told him. Made the verbal handshake deal and he said it was mine.

Monday, they couldn't get in touch with him to get directions to his house. We tried all day to call him. I finally got him that evening and he said, "Oh, somebody came by yesterday and bought it."

Yeah, I was pretty   but, in a way, I couldn't blame him either.

Last week I was going to pick up a really nice Mark II but then read some reviews and decided against buying it. I don't have the room either but it was eating at me for a few days so I said "what the hell, why not" and called back but it was gone. I have went a a buying spree of the SS radial arm saws (this is why I don't have room anymore). Im also looking for a SS2000 and I seen an old Magna table saw about a month ago on CL. I emailed about it but it was gone. Wanted it "Just Because" lol
