The above post now shows up on my PC as overwidth. Have a horizontal slide at bottom.

I think it is because of the QUOTE because the original the one the quote was taken did not cause a problem

Yes the quote was before the last changes to the sig line.

I think you have just verified the cause and 'fix'.

If anyone else has the problem, I will change it again.

My former screen is 1920 pixels wide so I did not encounter that. The current one is narrower and I have encountered similar shenanigans.

I'm beginning to think it's the screen resolution that people have theirs set to. Mines at 1024X768 pixels and no problem.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

And the window width if not 'full' screen.

Display on iPhone

Post by oddie »

I normally read these forums on my iPhone and JPG's posts were always too wide. Because of text sizing I could always tell at post #1 of a thread that somewhere in the thread JPG had posted something. Now that he has changed his signature that isn't true any longer. As I have gone back and forth through this thread this morning all of his old posts have gone to "normal" width. The only place where "too wide" occurs is in Beeg's post #20 where he quotes JPG's signature in the body of the post and JPG's post #21 where he quotes Beeg.

Now everything is fine with the world. :0)
Have a safe day!
