My son got the job!

Post by brick1 »

Hi all, I just wanted to share a parents greatest moment......My youngest son just got the job of Fire Chief here in our town. Titusville has 44K prople and he has 60 in the Department. He has been working for them about 14 years now and got his BA and working on his MA all the while. He is the one that took to heart, "dont do as I do, do as I say"!!! haha

take care, bill

Congratulations Bill, Fire Chief's job is crucial to the community and the firefighters. Some years ago I served a local fire department as an elected board member. I learned a great deal about how tough a job and how dedicated fire service personnel are. Your son is clearly the best of the best. Jim

Congratulation, Bill. I know how proud you are. My son-in-law is the Chief in Sonoita AZ. His department is a bit smaller but they do a great job. They are tested every season by the range land fires. He began there when it was a volunteer station with two or three vehicles.
